Our journey began with a fusion of inspiration and innovation from all the beautiful places we lived in: 10,000 lakes of Minnesota and its wild white winters; the urban vibrancy of Vancouver, juxtaposed with the unparalleled natural beauty of British Columbia, and the tranquil allure of sunny Algarve, Portugal's coastal landscapes and absolutely unique azulejos of Porto.
After having lived in the US and Canada, we were fortunate to have a chance to live in Portugal, where we discovered the marvels of cork—a material that not only possesses remarkable acoustic insulation properties (so needed in most homes) but also stands out as one of the most sustainable resources on our planet.
Captivated by the beauty of cork forests and the versatile applications of this incredible material, our vision took shape.
